Piatto Grinding Discs

Aka-Piatto is a series of diamond grinding discs in grit sizes P80 to P1200.

There are a number of benefits from using Aka-Piatto over grinding paper.
- several grinding paper stages can be substituted by a single stage on Aka-Piatto
- Fully plane sample without any “half moon” effect
- Absolute edge retention due to diamond abrasive in a resin bond
- Plane and fine grinds all materials harder than HV150

Unique to Aka-Piatto is the colour coded binder and wear compensated surface design which increases the planeness of the samples and increases the life of the Piatto discs.

Allegran Grinding & Polishing Discs

Allegran Aka-Allegran applies a unique system for materials removal. Integrated diamond abrasive is released while applying abrasive in the form of diamond suspension to Aka-Allegran. The result is high stock removal, long life and perfect planeness.
Aka-Allegran-9 replaces a number of grinding steps, typically P320 to P1200 with one single grinding step.
Aka-Allegran-3 replaces a 3 micron polishing cloth. Its benefits are very short preparation times, very flat samples and retaining soft phases like inclusions in steel
Aka-Allegran-1 replaces the final polishing step resulting in outstanding flatness regardless of how many phases your specimen may contain.

Unique to Aka-Allegran is the colour coded composite. The 9 & 3 micron product contains diamond abrasives to assist fine grinding.
Any material with hardness above 150HV can be prepared using Aka- Allegran.

DiaMaxx Diamond Suspensions

DiaMaxx Dose one liquid instead of both suspension and lubricant. DiaMaxx is a ready mix of lubricant and suspension, it is permanently stable and thus ensures reproducible results.
Based on our High Concentration Aka+ suspensions and our high removal Aka-Lube, Clear+ we have formulated a combination product which combines quick preparation with ease of use.
Contrary to competing two-in-one diamond suspensions; DiaMaxx is perfectly compatible with any polishing or fine-grinding surface, thus you can work with the usual micron sizes.
All grain sizes in both mono- and polycrystalline diamonds are available as DiaMaxx.
DiaMaxx does not contain any oil and is therefore very easy to clean.

DiaDoublo Diamond Suspensions

DiaDoublo Dose one liquid instead of both suspension and lubricant. DiaDoublo is a ready mix of lubricant and suspension, it is permanently stable and thus ensures reproducible results.
Based on our lubricants and diamond suspensions we have formulated a combination product which makes dosing and lubrication as easy as can be.
Contrary to competing two-in-one diamond suspensions DiaDoublo is perfectly compatible with any polishing or fine-grinding surface, thus you can work with the usual micron sizes.
DiaDoublo is available in a very wide range from 25 nm to 45 μm in mono and polycrystalline diamonds.
