DiaMaxx Diamond Suspensions
Mono & Polycrystalline DiaMaxx Diamond Suspensions
Mono- and Polycrystalline 45 m to 0.025 m
Dosing of only one liquid, instead of both suspension and lubricant makes future preparation very easy and trouble-free. DiaMaxx is a ready mix of lubricant and suspension, it is permanently stable and thus ensures reproducible results.
Very high removal rates allows for 30-50% shorter preparation time.
Formulated with water solvable polymers and no oil means very easy cleaning.
Quick preparation
Reproducible results
Little effect of overdosing
Water-based, no hazard warnings
Biodegradable
Full Range
Based on our lubricant Aka-Lube, Clear+ and our high concentrated diamond suspensions Aka-Mono+ Aka-Poly+ , we have formulated a combination product, which makes dosing as easy as can be. All grain sizes in both mono- and polycrystalline diamonds are available as DiaMaxx.
Contrary to competing two-in-one diamond suspensions; DiaMaxx is perfectly compatible with any polishing or fine-grinding surface, thus you can work with the usual micron sizes.
DiaMaxx contains solely mono- or polycrystalline diamonds.
Limited effects of overdosing
As a result of the lubricating films low viscosity, excessive liquid is quickly dispersed on the surface. This reduces any aquaplaning effect and the disadvantage of overdosing is limited to an increased consumption.
Reproduceable results
Many factors are involved when seeking short preparation times as well as reproducibility of the preparation. Here are the ones we have in focus.
Permanently suspended diamonds
Suspensions keep the abrasives suspended in a homogenous mixture. If the diamonds were to settle out, it would cause a variation in both concentration and size of the diamonds as the bottle is gradually used, causing a variance in polishing results. Both material removal rate and surface finish would vary because the diamonds would settle out on the bottom, starting with the heavy (larger) diamonds.
DiaMaxx keeps the diamonds permanently suspended, insuring consistent polishing results every time.
Uniform diamonds with uniform geometry
The decisive factor in achieving uniform particle size distribution is to use uniform, almost cubic-shaped diamonds. Therefore, the presence of deviating geometry, such as needle-shaped crystals or flakes, has been minimized.
Narrow batch tolerance
Our diamonds are graded into very narrow particle size distributions with a very narrow standard tolerance. Variances are minimized from batch to batch. Take a look at our specifications.
Controlled slurring
Small particles, diamonds included, have a tendency to agglomerate if the slurry process is not conducted correctly. We inspect every batch to ensure it meets our specifications.
Quick preparation
DiaMaxx is formulated on the basis of our lubricant Aka-Lube, Clear+ ensuring a high removal rate and perfect scratch pattern, right from the start. But there are other factors that also matters.
Narrow particle size distribution
When using the hardest wearing abrasives like diamonds, it is important that particle size distribution has the narrowest deviation possible. Large particles will result in deep scratches and require longer preparation times in the subsequent step, and small particles will not provide the required material removal rate, thereby prolonging the ongoing preparation step. We therefore use the most stringently graded diamond particles commercially available.
Modern sorting technology, combined with electronic and optical quality control, ensures highly reproducible preparation results. See our close tolerance at specifications
High diamond concentration
DiaMaxx has a concentration of 15 ct/l, equivalent to a mixing ratio between suspension and lubricant of 1:1. This ensures a combination of high removal rate and perfect scratch pattern.
Environmental friendly
Water based, no hazard warnings
Just like our diamond suspensions DiaMaxx is formulated with an eye to our environment. Many of the used components are in fact also used in cosmetics.
Specifications
Are you getting this detailed information from you present supplier?
DiaMaxx is a technical product, and should be supplied with as detailed specifications as necessary.
We use the best sorted diamonds commercially available. Hence we have nothing against sharing this information; you will not be able to get anything better anywhere.
Our mono- and polycrystalline diamonds are sorted to the same specifications. Make your own test, what is best in you application, mono or polycrystalline?
