Aptex Ltd are delighted to announce the addition of cut to length machines from ATM.

ATM contiune to be leaders in developing robust, high quality cutters, and have now added a range of machines whereby the length of cut can accurately be maintained. This production machine is avavilable in a number of sizes depending on the sample size and length of cut.

Aptex move to New Demonstration Facility

Aptex Ltd are delighted to announce our move to premises on the University of Warwick Science Park.

Due to our continuing growth, Aptex Ltd required additional space for our demonstration and support network. The premises at The Venture Centre, University of Warwick Science Park, Sir William Lyons Road, Coventry are ideal for maintaining and expanding our requirements for customer focus and support.

A formal opening will take place later in the year.

Sad news

Aptex Ltd are sad to report the death of Mike Skidmore.

Mike had only been at Aptex for a short while, but we had known him for many years. He died suddenly in January without any warning. He was estemmed colleague and good friend and we shall always miss him.

Optical Image Analysis Workshops

Aptex Ltd in conjunction with Clemex Technologies are holding Optical Image Analysis workshops for two days focusing on optical analytical image analysis techniques at Swinden House Conference Centre, Swinden House, Moorgate Road, Rotherham. S60 3AR on Wednesday & Thursday June 23rd and 24th 2010.

The workshops sessions will focus on Inclusion Rating systems, Automatic Hardness Testing, Filter Paper & Cleanliness Checks, as well as Grain Size, Particle Size, Coating Layer and Phase Analysis systems.

New Hardness Testing Program

Clemex have just announced the release of CMT HD, there latest Hardness and Microhardness testing program. With this release all of those start points (origins) that cannot be seen or need to be calculated are now easy to identify. With a mixture of image drawing and measuring tools, overlay lines can be drawn on the stage pattern to give the operator the exact origin for the hardness pattern. Clemex CMT HD can be used in conjunction with a fully automated system or as an upgrade to current equipment, subject to certain requirements.
