Vickers Microhardness Tester
The Matsuzawa MMT-X series of microhardness testers are suitable for all applications. These japanese made machines are robust and reliable, and are all available with the Knoop indentor option.
LCD Touch Panel
The touch panel (not on all models) has high visibility and allows the operator to easily use and program the machine. It is also used to display the hardness values and/or conversions.
Large Indentor Turret
The turret has the ability to hold upto 2 indentors and 4 objectives. The turret can be manual or motorised. With a motorised turret after indentation the turret will move to the appropriate measuring objective.
Wide test load range
With each microhardness tester there is a choice of load range. The type A covers the range of 10g to 1 kg, whereas the type B covers 1g to 2 kg.

The Matsuzawa VMT series of Vickers macrohardness testers are suitable for all applications. These japanese made machines are robust and reliable, and are all available with the Knoop indentor option.

The turret has the ability to hold upto 2 indentors and 4 objectives. The turret can be manual or motorised. With a motorised turret after indentation the turret will move to the appropriate measuring objective.
The motorised turret also increases the accuracy of positioning, as the turret returns to the same position.
Wide test load range
With each macrohardness tester there is a choice of load range. The type A covers the range of 1kg to 50 kg, whereas the type B covers 300g to 30 kg.
Rockwell Hardness Tester
The Matsuzawa digital Rockwell hardness testers are robust and very easy to use.
