The Presidon-MA series is a semi automatic hydraulic hot mounting press, part of our wider range of hot mounting presses.

If you need the quality of a hot mounting press but do not really have the volume to justify the outlay, then the Presidon-MA series of semi automatic presses might be an ideal solution for you.

It is suitable for a samples sizes ranging from 25mm to 50mm.

It is semi automatic for pressurising, heating and cooling. What this means is that you operate the pressure lever to raise the ram during heating, once the system has stabilised you can leave the heating cycle to continue and subsequently start the cooling cycle when the heating cycle is complete.

It's good for samples that need heating within the range of 160-250 centigrade.

The single sample hot mounting press produces one sample at a time. Spacers are available to increase the capacity of the press and produce samples with a maximum height of 14mm.

The cover has been designed to enable easy cleaning and removal for servicing.
